.The Pit Plus JR preassembled sewage pump system includes a 4/10 HP submersible sewage/effluent pump with basin, float switch and indoor high water alarm. The basin features a radial rib design for added strength, 360° molded handle; integrated anti-flotation collar, and recessed discharge and vent location. The 9SC-CIM pump delivers 6000 GPH at 5-ft lift and comes with a 2-inch discharge and 20-ft. cord. The system also includes a piggy-back mechanical float switch and float tree. Also included is a 13-inch x 2" MNPT discharge pipe with coupling and a 6-inch x 2.38-inch vent pipe. Please note this product does not come with a check valve. This system is specifically designed for areas with rocky terrain or where problematic soil makes digging difficult. The larger capacity of the Pit Plus Jr. extends the pump life by reducing pumping cycles. This system is designed to handle liquid and solid waste materials up to 2".

The alarm is equipped with a red LED warning light, horn with silence switch and test button. It has a 9-volt DC battery backup and comes with a float switch and 15' cord.

This pump is equipped with an air bleed hole which prevents the pump from being airlocked and allowing trapped air to escape. A large volume of water will spray from the pump. The pump is NOT DEFECTIVE. This is normal operation and does not affect the performance of the pump.
