A Chinois, also known as a Bouillon Strainer, Jelly Strainer and China Cap, strains and purees fruits, vegetables and berries for soups, sauces, baby food, desserts and stocks. Set includes a stainless-steel chinois, a chromed steel stand and a wooden pestle. Fine mesh sieve. Stabilize over a pot or bowl by resting the chinois in the stand. Stand will accommodate 4 to 10qt. bowls, pots and pans. Hand washing recommended.
