The Waste-Mate has a corrosion resistant powder coated epoxy finish. The pump also features a carbon and ceramic rotary shaft seal with stainless steel wetted parts. The Waste-Mate's screws, bolts, handle, guard, float rod, and arm and seal assembly are all made of stainless steel. There are no sheet metal parts that will rust or corrode.
