It measures the amount of air entering the engine, allowing the engine control module (ECM) to adjust the fuel delivery and optimize the air/fuel ratio for maximum performance and fuel efficiency. If your vehicle's MAF sensor is malfunctioning, it can cause a number of problems, including poor fuel economy, reduced power, and even stalling. Fortunately, replacing a faulty MAF sensor is relatively simple and inexpensive, and can restore your vehicle's performance and efficiency.
