After introducing the revolutionary air penetrator AP181 fan that helped to make RAVEN and Fortress series The top air cooling case models on the market, Silverstone is launching an updated 180mm air penetrator fan with the AP183. Thanks to advances in IC and motor design, the AP183 is superior to AP181 in every way. It can achieve higher maximum speed of 1, 500Rpm (vs. 1, 200Rpm) while consuming less power at only 3.6W (vs. 5.4W). for quietness, the AP183 can spin down to 400Rpm, which is practically inaudible, whereas the AP181 could go down to only 500Rpm via undervolting. For convenient and finer control of fan speed, the AP183 now implements PWM so users can easily take advantage of the fan's wider speed range. To ensure AP183 can cope with increased fan speed, dual Ball bearing is used to Ensure maximum durability under long sessions of high performance usage.
