.The Chief WC Welded Hydraulic Cylinder is engineered for superior functioning when working with heavier loads. It is more robust than tie rod cylinders, thanks to the port that is directly welded to the barrel. For reinforcement, the barrel is also welded to the end caps. An essential advantage of double-acting hydraulic cylinders like these is that they can perform the dual actions of pushing and pulling, unlike single action cylinders which can only do either. On the one hand, its head port facilitates piston extension in the rod when oil is pumped into it. On the other hand, it allows retraction when oil flow reverses. Our universal hydraulic cylinder is designed to be customizable for a variety of applications. The front rod gland is bolted instead of welded into the barrel. It makes the piston rod assembly and the rod seals detachable for servicing. This hydraulic welded cylinder can withstand the most severe outdoor conditions, making it suitable for use in both on-field and offshore operations. Its sturdy forged steel base and superior seal packaging assure long life expectancy. With a more compact structure than the tie rod version, this welded cylinder is ideal for jobs in cramped spaces. It is also available in a range of sizes: bores from 1.5 to 4 inches and strokes from 4 to 48 inches.
