.MICRO 100, SBM-250-4X, AlTiN - Aluminum Titanium Nitride coated, 30° helix, 4 flute, solid carbide spherical ball nose end mill. Designed and engineered with a short, 220° spherical ball nose with a reduced neck diameter ideal for copy milling and deep pocket milling applications. Featuring a special geometry that allows for inclination of up to 15° for optimal chip evacuation and increased speeds and feeds. AlTiN coatings are high performance and versatile. Has a higher breakdown temperature while maintaining high surface hardness at elevated temperatures. This coating promotes tool life and allows for faster speeds and feeds. Applicable with oxidation temperatures up to 800° C to 1450° F. Best suited for alloys steels, stainless steels, tool steels, nickel alloys, titanium, and dry machining applications.
