.The Quantum Storage Systems WR5-600800RD five-tier bin shelving system has wire shelves and posts made of chrome-finished steel to support an 800 lb. per shelf capacity when distributed evenly across the shelf, six red QGH600RD plastic bins, four red QGH800RD plastic bins, and is suitable for sorting, storing, and dispensing items. The bin shelving system’s open wire design offers visibility of contents, permits air circulation in the work environment, and helps resist dust build-up. The wire shelves have all welded steel construction and are reinforced with wire trusses for strength and they adjust in 1" increments to accommodate items of varying heights. The posts are grooved at 1" intervals to help guide installation of the shelves at desired heights, and come with leg levelers for use on uneven surfaces. Split sleeves on the posts hold and support the shelves. The bins are made of high density polyethylene (HDPE) for strength, resistance to solvents, corrosion, and rot. The bins are stackable up to six bins high, have a curved lip for strength, ribs on the sides for stability, and handles for gripping. The open hopper front on each bin is slotted for a clear plastic window (sold separately) to increase the amount of items the bin can hold while maintaining visibility of the contents. Molded front label holders on the bins facilitate the identification of bin contents. Six 1/4" hole patterns on the bottom of each bin facilitates the drilling of holes for drainage.
The assembled bin shelving system measures 74 x 36 x 18 inches (H x W x D). (H is height, the vertical distance from lowest to highest point; W is width, the horizontal distance from left to right; D is depth, the horizontal distance from front to back.) The outside of the QGH600RD bins measure 12-1/2 x 10-7/8 x 17-1/2 inches (H x W x D), and the inside of the bins measure 12-1/4 x 8 x 15-5/8 inches (H x W x D). The outside of the QGH800RD bins measure 12-1/2 x 16-1/2 x 17-1/2 inches (H x W x D), and the inside of the bins measure 12-1/4 x 13-3/4 x 15-5/8 inches (H x W x D). This bin shelving system requires assembly and comes with instructions; no tools are needed.
